zaurus and name resolution problems

I recently got a Zaurus, and I managed to network it to my computer using usbd0; however, whenever the Zaurus is hooked up my name resolution server doesn't work. I tried googling for the solution, and I found some link saying that the problem is conflicting dhcp clients, but that's the only link I could find (and it's for Suse). http://sdb.suse.de/en/sdb/html/multi_dhcp_client.html

Anyway, I did what it said to no avail. Any other ideas?
