genkernel and SUBARCH=i386?

Hi folks

I need to cross compile a kernel and I'd like to do it the genkernel way. As I need to compile a Kernel for a geode chip (i486 + some opts), I need to append SUBARCH=i386 to the kernel make options. Is there any way to do that with genkernel automatically in a chroot?
