2.4.21-hardened, grsecurity set to medium, hardened-gcc.
Emerged X and used a known-good configuration, and this is the error output I get:

So, no X for me so far. Tried re-emerging it, no dice. Running on a "masked" hence "stable" system (with exceptions; but X wasn't one of them.)
Any ideas? TIA. |

anybody? I don't get anything in syslog, my CFLAGS are pretty conservative at least by my standards (I've used much nastier ones to build fully-functional systems.) |

I have the same problem. Since I have upgraded from 4.3.0-r3 to 4.3.0-r4 I can't start and get the same error. Now I'm trying to downgrade to 4.2.1-r3. I'll write if it's better...

Any solution?
I'm having the same problem with xfree 4.3.0-r5 or xfree-4.3.99.902-r2
I'm running:
glibc 2.3.2-r9 with nptl
kernel 2.6.3-mm4 _________________ Kind regards, enrique

I wonder if anyone is using 4.3.99.902 and if they can post their config file. |
