Ich habe mal das "emerge world -u --deep -p" ausprobieren wollen und es wurde mir angezeigt, das KDe von 3.14 wieder auf 3.12 downgegraded werden soll. Aber auch KDE-Bindings wird nicht auf 3.14 geupdatet. Ist das ein Bug?

Entweder -U oder -u (in dem Fall -U), beides ist überflüssig.

Wenn du nur -U ohne -u benutzt, funktionierts zwar trotzdem, aber es gibt ne nette fehlermeldung:

however, um auf drfunfrock's problem zurueck zu kommen, ich vermute mal das du beim letzten rsync nen server erwischt hast der out-of-sync mit den restlichen gentoo rsync servern ist.

Nein, hab ich auch schon probiert. Ergebnis: Dasselbe.

Scheint ein beschissener Bug zu sein, wenn ich die Bugzilla Meldung richtig interpretiere. Oder?

Ich hab nach emerge und downgrade gesucht. Heraus kam so ein Bug wie #13632

Dann sag dem Portage mittels 'emerge --inject foo', dass die Pakete die er downgraden möchte (also die KDE-3.1.2 Versionen) schon installiert sind.

Versuch mal kdebindings zuerst einzeln auf 3.1.4 upzugraden, IIRC war das die Ursache für solche Probleme.

Hab das jetzt schon selbst gemerkt. Aber danke für den Tip. Das halte ich für einen Bug, da kdebindings eigentlich von kdebase abhängen sollte und das nur eingeschränkt von der Version sein sollte.
