Hi
I have a workstation with a Supermicro X9DAi board, and I cannot get the sensor readings (except for the CPU coretemp). When I run sensors-detect, I get in the output
Code:
Found `Winbond W83627DHG-P Super IO Sensors'
    (but not activated)

It is not possible to modprobe w83627ehf:
Code:
FATAL: Error inserting w83627ehf (/lib/modules/3.4.9-gentoo/kernel/drivers/hwmon/w83627ehf.ko): No such device

The manual says ``The onboard CPU and chassis fans are controlled by firmware thermal management via IPMI 2.0.''
I tried enabling IPMI in the kernel, and no /dev/ipmi was created.
Below are some parts of the kernel (3.4.9) config.
zgrep -i ipmi /proc/config.gz:
Code:

Maybe I am missing some settings in the BIOS.

I would appreciate any help, especially if somebody has this motherboard and managed to get the sensors working.
