I'm trying to emerge transcode-0.6.6 on my desktop, but I can't. transcode depends on openquicktime which is blocked by libquicktime that I had to emerge in order to use xawtv.
I had it working on my laptop with both openquicktime and libquicktime being installed, but for some reason I can't do this any more. Is there any workaround or solution for this problem? I would really like to get this solved, as I can't emerge k3b without transcode. |

I have the same transcode problem, but i workedaround it,
try
| Code: | | USE="-dvd" emerge k3b |
This way it wount try to build transcode, and you get k3b running.
