Hi! I'm having some trouble with cups and my printer (Epson Stylus C42). It works perfectly until it runs out of paper. In that case cups "forgets" the spooled job and it is not possible to continue printing by loading some aditional paper. In /var/log/cups/error_log I get the following message: "Unable to send print file to printer: No space left on device". Is it possible to fix this somehow? |

Not sure i can help you, but i could say that i have Epson dot-matrix printer + CUPS and there are no errors or problems when printer is going out of paper. AFAIK there are different spool methods, maybe you should try changing them? |
