|
|
I have just installed Gentoo Linux 1.4 and so far everything went well, as far as I can tell. However when I booted the system for the first time, the computer hangs.
The last message output I get before the computer freezes is
partition check:
/dev/ide/host0/bus/target0/lun0: p1 p2 <p5 p6 p7 p8p9 p10>
/dev/ide/host0/bus/target1/lun0:
Any ideas what might be the problem?
Thanx in advance

If you could provide more details like what type of Laptop/Desktop and hardware with the type of install you are doing would help to get started |
