Hi,
I have a laptop with hybrid graphics (nVidia + Intel) and I want to use only nVidia. I've configurated Xorg for nVidia card and had an error "No device detected". According to http://www.x.org/wiki/FAQErrorMessages#Message:_.22No_devices_detected.22, my active video device is Intel card. How can I change this? |

For most Lenovo laptops, you can set the bios to use only the discrete graphics.
If it is an Optimus laptop with no possibility to switch, you will need to look at alternative solutions like bumblebee. |
