Now that I've upgraded Gnome 2.4 and followed through with the stupid Mozilla 1.4/Epiphany upgrade, it destroyed what made my MozillaFirebird work.
I use MF on the binary download from Mozilla.org, its worked flawlessly in my /opt/ directory until the update.
Now i get an error when I try to run MozillaFirebird-bin
Code: |
./MozillaFirebird-bin: relocation error: ./MozillaFirebird-bin: undefined symbol: __new_handler
|
if anyone has any idea how I would fix this that would be great. |

The upgrade to 2.4 didn't affect MF at all for me. The first thing I did however was to unmerge both Mozilla and Epiphany as I don't need them at all. Have both Thunderbird and Firebird running nicely thanks.
All I can suggest is that you emerge Firebird again and see if it starts working. _________________ --

You can unmerge mozilla. Then also unmerge mozilla-firebird, delete the /usr/lib/MozillaFirebird directory, And then you can emerge mozilla-firebird again, then firebird will work, but i have after htis the problem thats gnome/nautilus will not work correctly... |
