go look at the extensions page (tools -> options -> extensions -> get new extensions) there are lots of mouse gesture addons, I tend to use easyGestures.

Put
Code:
user_pref("keyword.URL", "http://google.com/search?btnG=Google+Search&q=");

In your prefs.js to go to the google search instead of doing an "im feeling lucky" search through google.

Also with this, you need not set up keywords to do google searches, just type "some crap" in the address bar, and you're taken to a google search for some crap. Unfortunately throwing punctiation (like a .) makes it think it's looking for a specific domain.

In firebird, you can select a word (by highlighting it somehow), and then click the scrollwheel button on your mouse, and it will take you to a google search of the term.

Kinda neat, imo.

I actually find this feature very annoying, if I'm copying and pasting stuff into forms on a webpage, I keep ending up at a google search page for some account name or other....

I went for "Mouse Gestures" and it's exactly what I wanted (after I swapped it to right, rather than left mouse button). Thanks
