I just wondered: isn't alsa supposed to play multiple sound sources at one time? I have configured xmms to use alsa for output but I can't play a movie with mplayer in the same time. the second application is always blocked.
I used to have this feature using esd but I don't think this is the way to go.
so am I missing somthing or do I have to maybe configure something special?
I just want to be able to play a couple sounds at the same time |
