Hi All.
I recently upgraded to the nvidia-drivers-313.26 and saw two strange issues.
First was that eve had some really strange issues, like the cursor vanishing in the PI view.
Secondly when Skype was running X would use 100% cpu on 2 cores making most things usable.
Downgrading to nvidia-drivers-310.32 fixes both these issues.
I'm running 3.6.11-gentoo kernel 64 bit.
net-im/skype-4.1.0.20
app-emulation/wine-1.5.26
Use flags =
Code: | USE="mmx sse sse2"
USE="$USE xinerama"
USE="$USE v4l"
USE="$USE xft"
USE="$USE gtk3"
|
This is the first issue I have had with an nvidia driver in a long time and I'm very surprised. _________________ xfce4, conky, aterm, pidgin, firefox, thunderbird, emacs |

I've not heard of those problems before. Best place to report them is Nvidia's forum.
Also, 310.40 is latest in 310 series - see Nvidia releases. |
