i am going to buy one of the following cards, i wonder if someone have gotten it running on gentoo, they say it runs in redhat, but i will run gentoo
and i can imagine how redhat patches the kernel, i wanna run 2.4.22, if someone can help, i will appreciate! |

I have the MA401 running perfectly in gentoo Linux, but the card you mention seem to be a standard LAN. I quote from the page:
"The FA411 supports legacy and all other major operating systems, and comes with a 5-year warranty." Since it comes with RH drivers, you should be able to get it running in gentoo. I'd suggest to google for the chipset. _________________ Do you want your posessions identified? [ynq] (n) |

I have a FA311 and it works perfectly

Just enable the National Semiconductor under the 100mbit cards, should work fine. |
