I'm trying to get my Lexmark e320 working on an asus a7n8x board. The usb modules load, the printer is found, and assigned an id, but the device entry is not created, and running dmesg gives the following:
drivers/usb/core/usb.c: registered new driver hub
drivers/usb/core/usb.c: registered new driver usblp
drivers/usb/class/usblp.c: v0.13: USB Printer Device Class driver
drivers/usb/core/message.c: usb_control/bulk_msg: timeout
I'm currently running 2.5.70-mm3, and I also tried it with 2.4.20 gentoo sources, and got the same error. I searched a bunch, but haven't seen anyone with the same error. Anyone have any suggestions?
