I'm trying to get my desktop machine suspended but did not succeed so far. All I get is a blank screen which is turned on immediately after. Checking the syslog I can see that it is resumed 5 seconds after suspension.

Syslog:
Oct 12 11:54:24 office-pc apmd[1675]: apmd_call_proxy: executing: '/etc/apm/apmd_proxy' 'start'
Oct 12 11:54:25 office-pc apmd[1675]: Charge: * * * (-1% unknown)
Oct 12 11:55:25 office-pc apmd[1675]: apmd_call_proxy: executing: '/etc/apm/apmd_proxy' 'suspend'
Oct 12 11:55:26 office-pc apmd[1675]: User Suspend
Oct 12 11:55:30 office-pc kernel: PCI: Found IRQ 5 for device 00:0b.0
Oct 12 11:55:30 office-pc apmd[1675]: apmd_call_proxy: executing: '/etc/apm/apmd_proxy' 'resume'
Oct 12 11:55:31 office-pc apmd[1675]: Normal Resume after 00:00:05 (-1% unknown) AC power
Debug logger confirms the behaviour:
Oct 12 11:54:24 office-pc apmd[1675]: apmd_call_proxy: executing: '/etc/apm/apmd_proxy' 'start'
Oct 12 11:55:25 office-pc apmd[1675]: apmd_call_proxy: executing: '/etc/apm/apmd_proxy' 'suspend'
Oct 12 11:55:30 office-pc apmd[1675]: apmd_call_proxy: executing: '/etc/apm/apmd_proxy' 'resume'

Any idea why this happens?
Thanks |
