sgml2txt generating no output

Hi list,

I'm trying to build an ebuild of intersync (http://www.inter-mezzo.org/). However, the CVS "version" uses sgml2txt et al to generate its doc pages, and I'm kinda stuck. My problem is that sgml2txt -man <file>.sgml generates exactly nothing - as do all its brethren apart from sgml2xml...

Has anybody got an idea on how I could fix this? The sgmltools ebuild I'm using is app-text/sgmltools-lite-3.0.3-r4, and I did nothing fancy when installing it - just a plain emerge.

Did anyone ever figure this one out? I am currently having the same problem on 1.4rc3 with sgmltools-lite 3.03-r6.
