There is something wrong with my Kile installation.
Whatever function I try to run (quickbuild, check next Latex error,... whatever) I get a great "Could not start the command".
There must be something wront with my Kile installation... any idea please? |

Is it looking for the right executable? (Look under "Configure Kile" and "Tools") Are you sure the latex installation is working properly? Is the latex executable in your path? |

I quick question:
Have you saved the file? Most icons in kile represent shell commands that work with files. Also check the paths to latex, dvips etc in "configure kile".
Hope this helps. |

Thanks. The executables were indeed wrongly configured because I had not installed kdegraphics package (thus no kghostview or kdvi) AND I forgot to save the file prior to trying the commands.
Now it works perfectly, thanks much |
