i could invoke mac-part in order to create 1 partition sdc2, i got "HDIO_GET_IDENTITY" error when i confirmed mac-fdisk to finalize the partition table, anyway mac-fdisk has done its job correctly
then i mkfs.ext3 /dev/sdc2
if do
Quote: |
hdparm -i /dev/sdc2

i get this
Quote: |
/dev/sdc2:
SG_IO: bad/missing sense data, sb[]: 70 00 05 00 00 00 00 0a 00 00 00 00 20 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00

What do you think is wrong ? It seems to me that the SSD is not supporting standard features |
