Hi,
I am trying to build qtscript-5.x from qt overlay with gcc-4.7.3. I also have qtscript-4.x from gentoo, so it is building qtscript-5.x in a new slot.
Default CFLAGS and LDFLAGS are using lto (-flto=3 -fuse-linker-plugin).
qtscript fails when trying to build with lto, so I've tried to disable the lto for the qtscript using the portage /etc/portage/env/no-lto configuration:
Code: |
cat /etc/portage/package.env/no-lto
dev-qt/qtscript no-lto.conf
|
Also, the no-lto.conf contains flags to disable lto:
Code: |
cat /etc/portage/env/no-lto.conf
CFLAGS="${CFLAGS} -fno-lto -fno-use-linker-plugin"
CXXFLAGS="${CXXFLAGS} -fno-lto -fno-use-linker-plugin"
LDFLAGS="${LDFLAGS} -fno-lto -fno-use-linker-plugin"
|
But when I try to build qtscript-5.x it completely ignores the package environment and always tries to build with lto, which always fails...
Could it be a problem with ebuild or some misconfiguration, that I do not understand?
EDIT: The same configuration works for other ebuilds, such as boost or inkscape... |
