Gnome menu foot icon to something else, I searched the fourms a bit but could not find an answer. I right click on it but all that showed up was "help, remove and move". |

Try looking in the Control Center under the "Panel" option. I'm not sure though, because it's been a very long time since I've used Gnome (so things have changed). I'm assuming you're using Gnome 2.0 ... if it's 1.4, then these instructions actually have a better chance of working... _________________ Even a stopped clock gives the right time twice a day. |

Perhaps with another 2.x version or 3 they will bring back alot of the configurability. Considering how long 2 took, I'm not holding my breath. A simple default setting of 'basic' hiding the options should suffice. Reminds me of Microsoft making Windows more difficult to use for Admins just for the sake of the average joe. :shakes head: _________________ Quis separabit? Quo animo? |

You can alwasy go to share/icons/_icon_theme_/_icon_size_/apps under your kde dir (e.g /usr/kde/3.1) and overwrite the icon, it is called go.png.
Maybe you can add it under the same path in ~/.kde, just a thought. _________________ There's someone in my head but it's not me - Pink Floyd |
