Hi! all,
I searched a package named logitechmediaserver-bin at http://packages.gentoo.org/
It returns me some results like: /package/media-sound/logitechmediaserver-bin
but if I click it, it will take me back to the package.gentoo.org homepage. Does this package still exist any more?
thank! |

Not so bad as you might think, given the note which accompanied masking the package in the first place:
Quote: | # Pacho Ramos <pacho@gentoo.org> (25 Dec 2012)
# Will be maintained in squeezebox overlay, please switch to it.
# See bug #251494. Removal from the tree in a month.
media-sound/logitechmediaserver-bin

It is still present in the overlay. The maintainer announced the move in another forum, providing further information there. |

Thank you, desultory!
I never exactly understand the concept of "overlay" before. Now I just added the squeezebox overlay to my portage. Thanks! |
