Hi all,
I have a realtek 8110sc gigabit card using the 8169 driver on vanilla kernel 3.4.56. When running dhcpcd to a a Buffalo router with DD-WRT 20025, my link speed drops to only 100mb. Tried cable on mac to the same router with a successful gigabit link. Any suggestions? Could this be a DD-WRT issue? |

DHCP does decide on the link speed. And unless your box with DD-WRT has only 100mbit or a bad cable that would be the culprit.
However I know these network cards and the problems with them, can you find which firmware is being loaded for them in dmesg? |
