Just a quick "to let you know": To be able to play sound through the hmdi out of my HD5570, I had to add to the kernel command line :
now i can select HDMI as output for pulse with pasystray, or use it like: | Code: | | mplayer -ao pulse:device=hw=0.3 someaudiofileorvideofile |
to get the numbers you need after "hw=" use: | Code: | | aplay -L && aplay --list-devices |
