Well, my SBLive and ALSA is going strong, but with XMMS, there are very frequent pops when I am listening to audio streams on the net, or even local audio streams.

This problem of poping doesn't happen with playing Quake3, so maybe its just XMMS. Is there any tips or tricks I should do/try for Linux and XMMS? Maybe its how ALSA is setup, but I have no clue where to look.

What is the XMMS output plugin configured for?
