Hello,
On all my machine, Avahi is configured to provided an IP address if my Dhcp server is down, using "autoip" flags.
I'm facing a problem only on my laptop where I installed NetworkManger (wifi and stuffs) : On this machine, if the ethernet cable is connected BUT the dhcp server is down, NetworkManager is completely disabling this network interface.
The only workaround I found is to create an alternate configuration, with a fix address which is part of Avahi autoip network : quite dirty
What can I do to make Avahi defining a zeroconf address on the ethernet interface if the cable is connected but if the DHCP server is missing ?
Thanks
