using the latest digikam under KDE if I add more than 50 folders for it to index, it seems to stall on making the thumbnails, and then crashes, it makes no difference if i use mysql, mariadb or sqlite.
I have tested this on 2 different systems, and both show the same symptoms, I tried debian 7, which uses digikam 2.6 and it works fine on the same folders.
I have looked on gentoo bugs site, and on digikam and I haven't been able to find anything
edit:
Solved this issue by putting Windows back on the laptop and using ACDSee _________________ I know 43 ways to kill with a SKITTLE, so taste my rainbow bitch.

if its eating 8G of memory and all the swap then there is an issue somewhere, also looking at that link I am not using face recognition, so not sure that would apply _________________ I know 43 ways to kill with a SKITTLE, so taste my rainbow bitch. |
