Finding the ideal boot floppy...

I'm looking for a boot floppy that I can use to install Gentoo from with two interesting twists:
1. It must not require a CD-ROM
so:
2. It must have drivers for my ethernet card (3com using the standrd 3c driver)

Any ideas where to get such a disk??

tomsrtbt would help you except that Gentoo now does this kernel check and when you get to the chroot step of installation it will panic and stop.

There are a couple of other threads out there. Namely the Installation from a boot floppy HOWTO and it's accompanying discussion thread.

There is also a bug to request an official gentoo boot/rescue floppy.
