How do one emerges the nvidia driver319.60 on the 3.11.5 kernel ? When I do merge -av nvidia-drivers the default is the .49 driver and I can't find a way of selecting another driver ... thanks

You need to update the ebuild[1] or wait for the maintainer to do it. 1. http://packages.gentoo.org/package/x11-drivers/nvidia-drivers
