noteedit crashes

Noteedit was recently commited ~x86, but similar to the ebuilds I created for noteedit before, I can't get this one to work. Everything compiles fine, but when I try to run noteedit, a kde window pops up and says that noteedit crashed. I'm using kde 3.1.4; has anyone else had any success with noteedit?
