can't login with gdm

Hi guys,

I'm new to linux and got one dumb question. I can't login when I'm using gdm. The .xsession-errors file say (these two lines below):
` /etc/X11/gdm/PreSession//Default: Registering your session with wtmp and utmp`
`/etc/X11/gdm/PreSession//Default: running: sessreg -a w /var/log/wtmp -u /var/run/utmp -x "/var/lib/gdm/:0.Xservers" -h "" -l :0 akok440`

any idea guys? my login name is akok440 and i divided my disk into 7 partitions such as:
/boot
/
swap
/var
/tmp
/usr
/home

I modified the /etc/fstab so that when it comes to <dump/pass> option, everything is "1 1"
I just can't figure this out. Thx everybody.
