Hi there,
since there are no good drivers for our prefered SCSI-RAID from Adaptec, we would need another suggestion.
Does anybody of you has a good supported SCSI-RAID controller for Linux with RAID5 below EUR/$ 500?
Thank you very much. |

I had excellent results with Mylex cards on Linux (Debian).
The model I've used on severl occasions was AcceleRaid 170, the driver is DAC960 in the kernel configuration (under block devices). _________________ There's someone in my head but it's not me - Pink Floyd |

Can't remember the transfer rates, the servers were set for my clients, and I don't have one for my disposal right now to test it.
The Raid level were 1 and 5 with hotswap drawers. Works like a charm. _________________ There's someone in my head but it's not me - Pink Floyd |
