When logging out of gnome as "user" to login as root (because SU does not work and I posted a question on that too) The mouse locks at the centre of the screen. I have to control/alt/delete to restart X and get the mouse working.
However if "user" is the first login/logout after a reboot the mouse works. Not on the second logout.
The mouse will not work if root is the first login/logout.
I'm using a Logitech Mouseman 3 button ADB mouse and configed X with Xautoconfig.
Is there any known fix?

| For su to work you have to add your user to the group wheel (see the gentoo faq on the website for more info on this) |

Yes, now it says Authentication Failure instead of Permission Denied. I have added "user" to wheel.
