When logging out of gnome as "user" to login as root (because SU does not work and I posted a question on that too) The mouse locks at the centre of the screen. I have to control/alt/delete to restart X and get the mouse working.
However if "user" is the first login/logout after a reboot the mouse works. Not on the second logout.
The mouse will not work if root is the first login/logout.
I'm using a Logitech Mouseman 3 button ADB mouse and configed X with Xautoconfig.
Is there any known fix? _________________ I'm so small, I can fit under the door.

For su to work you have to add your user to the group wheel (see the gentoo faq on the website for more info on this) |

Yes, now it says Authentication Failure instead of Permission Denied. I have added "user" to wheel. _________________ I'm so small, I can fit under the door.
