Do I need to install whole Libreoffice to have Writer? I don't need Draw, Impress etc... In Debian there are separate packages like 'libreoffice-writer', 'libreoffice-impress'. I can't find similar packages in Portage.

Tractor Girl,
You need the whole Libreoffice for any of its parts.
Debian may dismember Libreoffice post build but if the build system does not support building components, a source based distro has to build it all. _________________ Regards,
