As you can see the fonts are better anti-aliased on Ubuntu than on Gentoo.
The default anti-aliasing settings on Ubuntu using unity-tweak-tool are:
Antialiasing: RGBA
Hinting: Slight
I run unity-tweak-tool on Gentoo and set the same settings, but as you can see the results differ, even font spacing is different.
How can I get the supperior font-aliasing on Gentoo?

You can try two things - try adobe-cff, or infinality in freetype:

To mess around with infinality, you will have to try eselect lcdfilter and eselect infinality. I can't remember how to enable adobe's rendering.

Thank for the reply.
As suggest as well by other user on #gentoo-chat I installed Infinality and the font no looks much like the Ubuntu one with lcdfilter and infinality set to linux, ubuntu.
