emerge trying to download

Hi,

I am using a wireless lan card with windows XP, trying to install gentoo and having no luck getting online for the installation.

I downloaded and burned CD1 only, can I finish the install without getting online?

I found a forum response about wlan0 and the wap11 pci cards, but the solution is only with an RPM module for RH or Mandrake

What brand of wireless card are you using, the Broadcom does not work with linux.
