All of a sudden my pure-sfv stopped working properly also I'm too lazy to search in the portage*, I did a search here, got nothing. Any recommendations?
*I'm really surprised that Gentoo's developers didn't include the search-thru-ports feature on the main page. FreeBSD's did.

I use bsdsfv myself. It's rather annoying for simple CRC checks without a SFV file, but it seemed useable from what little I've used it.

I'm at a loss for what you mean by this.
Are you talking about emerge -s/S? |
