Well here it comes...
I emerged some fonts (MS crap since I had problems with superkaramba),
then when I lauched KDE all fonts were gone.
I looked at forum but could not find anything that solved my problem...
Should I re-emerge xft? xfs starts fine. 
I'm out of ideas... BTW, same thing in Fluxbox.

Would you mind to show FontPath from the following files,
/etc/X11/XF86Config
/etc/X11/fs/config
/etc/fonts/local.conf
/etc/fonts/fonts.conf
Also try this command,
X has three different ways of config fonts, (may be more). I don't know which one went wrong. |

Hi,
I will do it later tonight since I'm at the office, but the weird thing is that I emerged fluxbox and the fonts were fine.
I will post the content of the files.
