Detailed post in
usb wireless adapter/wpa_supplicant, troubleshooting.
USB AC56
Driver: RTL8812AU
Ver: 4.2.5
Running '/etc/init.d/net.wlan1 stop/start' gives me activity in the USB card's light. But I cant get the card to work with wpa_supplicant. i have noticed that 'wlan0' (my laptop's integrated WiFi) loads as 'wpa_supplicant','wpa_cli-wlan0.pid' & 'wpa_supplicant-wan0.pid' when i execute '/etc/init.d/net.wlan0 stop/start' in '/var/run'. and as for 'wlan1' I only get 'ifplugd.wlan1.pid' in '/var/run'.
I believe that is my problem, either that or i am not configuring wpa supplicant correctly. _________________ "Yeah! I am just an atom in an ectoplasmic sea, Without direction or a reason to exist.
