Did you read this?

http://www.pureftpd.org/README.Virtual-Users

It worked for me. Don't forget
Code:
pure-pw mkdb
when you make any changes.

Ok...i have a problem and i have no idea what todo about it. Its very strange to me. I have created 4 users and they all work(can login, upload, download from the ftp) but....the 1st user i created ****** was made but i had all the home dirs set to what i mentioned above and i couldnt upload or anything in there so i changed all users to use /home/ftpuser/FTP/./ and all of them work now except my account ******. When i login it carries me to the old dir that doesnt work. I have deleted it and recreated it with the working dir and i have also deleted it and added another diff named account but it does the same thing. i have looked at the password database and everythign is fine in there. i have followed all of the instructions that i got from the Virtual users doc. anyone got any ideas on it?

Also i have another problem that i think might be a bug....if i run
Code:
pure-pw pwconvert >> /etc/pureftpd.passwd
all it does it put the stuff that is printed on screen when you enter a command argument wrong.(it shows the arguments and what they are used for for pure-pw). I was under the impression that it would convert all teh system accounts and that might solve my problem. im not sure. im gonna go check for that bug tho.
