I've emerged gdesklets-core along with various gdesklets, and it seems to work fine, but when I load GNOME, I get the error message:

Could not add display wrote:
The display could not be added because the file does not exist.

I have to open a term and run "gdesklets" in order to get them running. Does anyone else have this problem? Any clue how to get it to work? I added "/usr/bin/gdesklets &" to my session's initial commands to run, but that doesn't do it.

What displays are you trying to use?
Have you emerge an update to pygtk?
