I missed kde 3.5 so much. I would like to install TDE. Is supported on Gentoo? Also what's his future? Is stable? Secure? Your opinion is to do the step or go to xfce4 which is the most sure way? _________________ Compile The Universe |

As for its future, the Trinity source tree went into soft freeze for the next version about a month ago, but there are still several bugs to be ironed out--some with respect to the new hardware lib that's replacing HAL, some with respect to functionality on distributions that are now shipping systemd without consolekit or policykit, and some just random build problems. Slow progress is being made, but it'll most likely be a couple of months yet before the new release lands. Additional developers would be most welcome. ;P |
