I'd like a guide on how to set up an FTP server. The only thing I want to do, is to share one or more directories to a number of users, that I each give a user name and a password. I've tried a few times to get the FTP-stuff working but I just don't know much about this stuff. It seems to be a little more complicated than in windows, so if there's an easy and comprehensible guide out there, please tell me
A friend of mine said something about having to create a local Linux user for each account, is that true?
Best regards, Johan |
