Is md available during Gentoo install?

Greetings all,

I have a server here I'd like to get off of RH 7.2 and onto Gentoo to serve
as a webserver running Apache, etc. The hardware is as follows:

PPro 180
192 MB RAM
Onboard Adaptec 7880 Dual channel SCSI controller
4 x 4.4 GB drives
2 x 9.1 GB drives
2 x 18.2 GB drives

I currently have ext3 running on all the partitions, and have "raided" a few
of the drives together to make a few large partitions, namely the two 18.2 GB
and the two 9.1 GB drives. So my question is, is md or something similar
available during the Gentoo install to accomplish this, or am I stuck using each
device on it's own? They currently are type fd using fdisk (Linux raid autodetect),
will that make any difference to Gentoo?
