|
|
I'm perplexed about this - on some of my machines when I save an image in firefox, the save box lets me click on other images in the save directory and they become visible as a thumbnail. On other machines, this doesn't work. I haven't got any pluggins active other than shockwave.
The reason I want to do this is to be able to check and make sure I'm not saving a duplicate.
Does anyone know how this is turned on? |

It could be a firefox plugin, or a different version of firefox.
I had similiar issues with chrome.
Browsers tend to change always and also the activated plugins.
best search for an add on plugin for your webbrowser or try out another webbrowser and check if it works there. |

After doing some digging around it appears that this is controlled by the "SaveFileDialog" function in the OS rather than Firefox. But I have no clue as to how to alter the setup of this. |

Seems to be a feature of GTK FilePicker. Maybe a look in will help? Are you having Code: | ui.allow_platform_file_picker | set true in about:config? |
