Hi,
Since last system update, /etc/portage/make.conf has no effect on configuration. USE flags are not applyied.
How can it be?

Please post your make.conf and the output of emerge -pv <foo> where <foo> is whatever is ignoring the use flag change. You probably should pastbin them if they are long.

Also, don't forget to tell use exactly which use flag we are talking about.

If the permissions would be 600 or so and the user is not root, this would happen.

It my fault.
"make.conf" contains two USE flags lines (last was wrong).
