Maybe this is very easy to figure out but I haven't been able to. I've emerged ALSA and unmuted my device, I have Intel HD audio enabled in my kernel, maybe I don't know the specific driver for my system though, how would I find out? I'm using a Thinkpad x220. My sound buffer's size is set to 4096, so I shouldn't have any problems with that.
Thanks for the help. |

I believe Intel HD audio is correct, according to this pretty detailed page about gentoo on the thinkpad x220: http://vminko.org/gentoo_manuals/thinkpad_x200
The author has some other tips, HTH. |
